What We Collect
When you use Still Here, we collect only what we need to make the app work for your family:
- Your name and email address when you create an account
- Check-in times and history
- Morning messages, photos, and voice notes you choose to send
- Mood check responses chosen after a morning check-in
- Device information needed to deliver push notifications
What We Do Not Do
We want to be absolutely clear about this:
- We do not sell your data. Ever.
- We do not share your information with third parties for advertising purposes
- We do not use your personal information for any purpose other than making Still Here work for your family
- We do not collect any health or medical data
How We Use Your Information
Everything we collect serves one purpose — connecting families through Still Here. Specifically we use your information to:
- Deliver morning messages between family members and parents
- Send push notifications when a loved one checks in or hasn't checked in
- Show check-in history and streaks on your dashboard
- Send password reset emails when requested
- Maintain your scrapbook of shared photos and voice messages
How We Protect Your Data
We take the security of your family's information seriously:
- All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS
- Voice messages and photos are stored securely
- We use industry standard security practices throughout
- Passwords are encrypted and never stored in plain text
- Your personal data is never visible to other users outside your family circle
Your Rights
You are in control of your data at all times:
- You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time
- You can update your personal information from within the app
- You can remove family members from your circle at any time
- All deletion requests will be processed within 30 days

Push Notifications
Still Here uses push notifications to let you know when your loved one has checked in or hasn't checked in by your chosen time. You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings. Note that disabling notifications will affect the core functionality of the app.
Children
Still Here is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information please contact us and we will delete it immediately.
Third Party Services
Still Here uses the following trusted third party services to operate:
- RevenueCat — manages subscription billing through Apple and Google. RevenueCat's privacy policy applies to payment processing.
- Resend — delivers transactional emails such as password resets. Only your email address is shared for this purpose.
- MongoDB — secure database storage for your account data.
None of these services receive your data for advertising or marketing purposes.
Changes to This Policy
If we make significant changes to this privacy policy we will notify you through the app before the changes take effect. Continued use of Still Here after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
